Hobbies & interests
I am very active and have been practicing sports since a very young age. My favorite is baseball, a game I played at elite level up to my early 30s and where I acquired team skills and the competitive edge I have today.
I recently became a dad, an amazingly gratifying life-changing event. I am an passionate cyclist and runner and will never say no to the occasional hike. I love the outdoors and travelling. For 19 months between 2014 and 2015, I cycled from Australia to France. I wrote a book about my journey and given several motivational talks. A couple of years after meeting my girlfriend, we decided to cycle from Las Vegas to Ushuaia, but COVID-19 took over the world. After spending 3 months in the outskirts of Medellin, we made the decision to fly back to Quebec where we welcomed our son in the beginning of 2022.
I developped a passion for photography, try not to read multiple books in parallel and am an avid cook.
You can visit my website at www.pacelachance.com where I blogged about my cycling travels and showcase my photos. I also wrote a book, called Journey Back Home, depicting stories from the road whilst cycling back from Australia.
