Element Materials Technology is a world leader in testing, inspection, and certification in a diverse range of industries including aerospace, transportation, telecoms, and pharmaceuticals. The company has 188 laboratories around the world.
I was promoted to the Global Development Lead, managing development endeavors at Element. Reporting directly to the VP of IT & Director of Systems & Development, my main role was to create bespoke solutions providing Element with a competitive advantage, integrate with existing core systems, and provide solutions to improve efficiency and enable operational excellence in the laboratories or in the functional areas that support the laboratories. The development team was responsible for numerous integration work but mostly for an in-house built LIMS used in laboratories.
